Fruit and veg are cheaper in season, and they haven’t travelled as far. This means that you’ll get the best quality and choice for your budget.
Local
We know our growers and we work closely with farmers in the Sheffield region. In summer most of our organic produce is from the UK, and we avoid air freight all year round.
Organic
Organic fruit and veg is grown without artificial fertilisers or pesticides. It’s a nature-friendly way to farm which improves soil health and biodiversity.

Beanies was founded in 1986. From humble beginnings in Hillsborough via a converted terrace in Walkley and on to our beautiful premises at 1 Barber Road, Beanies has flourished.
