Why choose a Beanies box?
Seasonal
Fruit and veg are cheaper in season, and they haven’t travelled as far. This means that you’ll get as much organic food in your box as possible for your budget.
The box contents will change throughout the year, so it’s a great way to keep in touch with the rhythm of the seasons and keep your cooking creative.
Local
We know our growers. We work closely with Matt West, friend and former Bean, who grows for us in Moss Valley. We’re also supplied by Moss Valley Organics and Sheffield Organic Growers, who are based at the same site.
Many of our other suppliers are based in the UK. Over winter we use freight from sunnier climes, but we avoid flown-in produce.
Organic
Organic fruit and veg is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides.
Organic is better for the environment because it leads to greater soil health and biodiversity.
It’s better for you, because there’s a lower risk of chemical nasties making it to your plate.
… at an affordable price
Beanies organic veg boxes start at £12 including delivery.
We pack hundreds of boxes each week, which means we can buy produce in bulk and pass on that saving to you. We do it quickly and well so that even with delivery included we’re still able to offer boxes at a cost-efficient price.
Beanies is the only scheme that offers a value box – bigger portions of seasonal favourites to suit batch cooking.
You can chose and change your box easily online, and you decide how often you want it. When you sign up you’ll add your payment information, and then we take care of the rest.
We charge you fortnightly in arrears so you’ll only ever pay for what you’ve received. This is the most cost-efficient way for us to collect payments, so it helps us to keep customer costs down, too.
